Cox's Bazar World’s Longest Natural Sea Beach

Cox's Bazar is a town with an area of 6.85 km², a district headquarters and also a fishing port in Bangladesh. Cox's Bazar is the best tourist spot in Bangladesh. It is Located along the Bay of Bengal in Southeast Bangladesh. Every year a large number of tourist from America, Japan, Britain, Korea, India, Pakistan and many more countries Cox’s Bazar is famous for the world’s longest natural sea beach with its incredible 125 km . It is located 150 km south of Chittagong. Cox’s Bazar is also known by the name "Panowa" means ( yellow flower ) . The modern Cox's Bazar derives its name from Captain Cox, an officer serving in British India. The climate of Bangladesh has a tropical monsoon-type, with a hot and rainy summer whereas a dry winter. Often excessive humidity, heavy rainfall, high temperature, and distinct seasonal variations are common here. The beach is the main attraction of Cox’s Bazar .

Laboni beach is considered as the main beach area of Cox’s Bazar as at closest to the town . About 10 km from Cox’s Bazar
Ramu is a village which is famous for monasteries, khyangs and pagodas containing images of Buddha. Ramu is also famous for its handicrafts and homemade ciggars .
Himchari is one of the most attractive places for the visitors, and it is Located about 18 km south of Cox’s Bazar . Himchari is a nice place for the film shooting and picnic .
St. Martin's Island is a most popular tourist spot in Cox’s Bazar. It is situated about 9 km south of the tip of the Cox's Bazar-Teknaf peninsula. St. Martin's Island is the only coral island in Bangladesh. "Narical Gingira", is the local name of this island.
Near the Cox’s Bazar city there are several places to visit. Maheshkhali, Himchari, Sonadia Island, Teknaf, Ramu, Dulhazra safari park, St. Martin's Island etc.
Sunrise and sunset is the best remarkable scenery of Cox’s Bazar. Cox’s Bazar is a great place to visit for a tourist.
